The prequel series focuses on Daenerys Targaryen's ancestors and details the bloody civil war at the height of the age of dragons. Though house Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon dominated Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon is primarily a Targaryen family affair. HBO spent roughly $20 million an episode, and fans finally got a taste of one of the show's massive battles at the end of Episode Three.

It looks like House of the Dragon is already going the way of Game of Thrones in its later seasons. Shortly after House of the Dragon Season 1, rumors circulated across social media that Man of Steel's Henry Cavill and WandaVision's Elizabeth Olsen were set to join the world of Westeros in Season 2.
